SHARE is an association of business and professional people who have developed a common trust in the quality and value of each other's services and products, and therefore are comfortable and confident in referring to each other. SHARE encourages and supports the continued exchange of business referral among members, and to third parties.

South Hills Area Referral Exchange (SHARE) is an association of businessand professional people organized and existing to enhance and expand the business of each member, through the exchange of quality business referrals.

The exchange of a business referral reflects the establishment of trust between members. Such trust is developed by using other members' products and services, exchanging information about each other's business and business associates, expressing appreciation for other members' performance in providing goods and services through testimonials, and getting to know each other as people.

Effective networking practices and techniques, personal relationships, and the avoidance of conflicts of interest, are key elements in maximizing the number of referrals provided, and therefore, the amount of business generated. These practices, techniques and relationships are developed and re-affirmed by active, consistent participation in structured meetings is required, only one member in each business/professional category is permitted to participate at one time in the organization, and participation in informal gatherings is encouraged.
